Happy Birthday to Intulse Meetings!
Team Intulse is excited to wish a happy 3rd birthday to our video meetings solution, Intulse Meetings! As a present, we’ve added many useful new features to Meetings, making it an even better alternative to other video meeting solutions for Intulse clients already using our VoIP system.
When we envisioned Intulse Meetings 3 years ago, our goal was to provide a cost-effective solution for video meetings to users of the Intulse App. With tools like scheduled video meetings, chat, and more, we created a solid, useful add-on for our VoIP solution.
But times and technology have changed, and it was time for Intulse Meetings to grow up a bit!
System Overload
One of the biggest challenges businesses and organizations face is this: no single tool or solution exists that provides all the functionality needed to communicate easily. For example, you can have a great CRM but still need a better email platform to handle transactional emails because the native email tool is pretty weak on options.
We found the same thing with platforms like Zoom, where the meeting tool is good but is weighed down with many features that most people do not use but still have to pay for. Beyond that, their phone solution has poor reviews for reliability, and the pricing model is definitely unattractive.
These are just a few reasons why Intulse clients should examine all the new options available in Intulse Meetings.
What’s New in Intulse Meetings?
Because Intulse Meetings is not a standalone video conferencing tool, it is only available to current and future Intulse VoIP clients. It is an integrated add-on to the Intulse VoIP phone app. After taking a look at data on what the most used features are of available video meeting solutions we decided to add the following features to make Meetings even more useful to our clients:
- Full support for mobile devices
- Video meeting recording
- Breakout rooms
- Persistent custom links for recurring meetings
- Easier screen sharing
- New reactions, polls, and other chat tools
- Meet with over 100 participants with no issues
These new and updated features are in addition to the great meeting tool we already offered!
What’s the Advantage?
For Intulse clients, the advantage is simple. Instead of paying $16 per month/user for access to features that most people never use, Intulse boosts the bottom line with an integrated video meeting solution for nearly half the cost per user, offering the most commonly used features.
One of the biggest differences is that Intulse Meetings does not have a participant limit, and is built on a backbone that has been tested with between 500-1000 users without skipping a beat. With platforms like Zoom, even with their Business plan, you are limited to a maximum of 300 participants. Zoom requires you to spend an additional $50/month to have more than 300 participants.
We cannot say enough about the pricing advantages. If you use Zoom you will likely know that if you pay annually to save money and decide to move to a different solution, you will likely have lost any shot at a refund.

- 3rd-party integrations available for meeting reminders and other options
- One interface for everything without ever installing an app on desktop
- No subscriptions or contracts for Meetings – it’s truly month-to-month
When you do the math, $10 per month/user for Intulse Meetings (at the time of this writing) can represent a massive yearly savings for you, depending on your needs and what options you may be using with a platform like Zoom.
