We value simple, transparent pricing. There are some fees which we can not estimate but we still want you to know about them. For an overwhelming majority of clients these fees are very minor and will only add a few dollars to their total invoice.
Intulse already charges a monthly fee for every local phone number you have on your account. This fee already covers a myriad of regulatory fees and other costs incurred by Intulse to keep your number operational. In response to Kari's Law and RAY BAUM'S Act Intulse passes on an additional $2 surcharge for all phone numbers with E911 enabled on them. We have elected not to bundle this new fee into our existing base "per number" fee because not all numbers need E911 and we didn't want our clients to have to pay this fee for all their phone numbers.
Calls to 911 placed from numbers that do NOT have E911 enabled will incur a $150 fee per call.

Intulse does not charge for received text messages, those are FREE. Text messages sent through the Intulse App are also FREE. However, text messages sent using our API, which includes integrations with plugins for sending text messages through Intulse, do have a cost. Text messages are broken down into message segments. There are many factors that determine how many segments a message is broken into but a general rule is messages with plain text are broken down into 160 character segements and messages with emojis are broken down into 70 character segments. SMS messages sent using our API cost $0.007 per message segment. MMS messages sent using our API cost $0.019 per message segment.
If you intend to SEND messages from local numbers (this does not apply to toll-free numbers) you will need to register a 10DLC brand and campaign. There are both one-time fees and recurring fees associated with doing this and, sadly, it's complicated. You are only charged these fees IF you choose to create a 10DLC brand/campaign and the costs will be available for you to approve before you commit to registering For planning purposes assume $30 one-time and $5/mo.
What is 10DLC? Well, that's a big question with a long answer but the short version is that 10DLC is a massive, industry wide, effort to reduce text message spam enforced by mobile carriers.
Intulse clients have the ability to record calls automatically or on demand and we do not charge for this feature. However, we do charge for the storage of the recordings.
Call recordings are approximately 1 MB per minute of recording. You can use this to anticipate your approximate storage needs and resulting fees. For example, if your organization were to spend 1 hour of time on recorded calls per business day in a month it would increase your bill by $0.12. Intulse charges $0.10 per GB per month of storage used.
